Intelligence & National Security Field Trip to Washington, DC

Applications are open for our 2022 Intelligence & National Security Field Trip to Washington, DC!

On September 21-23, 2022, the Triangle Institute for Security Studies (TISS) and Field Trip Poster (AGS) will be leading a field trip to the Washington DC area designed for students interested in issues of intelligence and national security. The two-day itinerary will include stops at agencies within the intelligence community and defense policy space.

We will depart on the late afternoon on Wednesday, September 21 and return the night of Friday, September 23. Travel, accommodation, and most meal costs will be covered.

This opportunity is open to students enrolled at any of the four TISS consortium institutions: Duke University, North Carolina Central University, North Carolina State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Students from all stages and programs are welcome to apply, though all applicants must be US citizens.
