Mission

At TISS, our aim is to enhance understanding of critical issues in national and international security through teaching, high-impact scholarship, and public outreach. A consortium of universities across North Carolina’s Research Triangle, we hope to build a diverse community of scholars, policymakers, and practitioners with a shared interest in and dedication to the study of security, broadly conceived.
